How do I turn an activity into a course on my Garmin?

This is the easy way to do it from Garmin Connect:

Open the activity in Garmin Connect interweb.
Click on the gear icon top right.
Select Save as course – follow the prompts.
Send to device.

If you have a question you can start a new discussion Hi, I’m trying to create a course from a previous activity but can’t see how to do it in the latest version of Garmin connect. I’ve read some advice which sounds very simple but when I try it I don’t seem to have the same menus as the advice says to use. I’ll try and add screen shots.
