A major redesign in 1986-87 maintained the tradition while transforming the course into a contemporary test of golf. The nine-hole layout features three par 3s, three par 4s and three par 5s, with a large lake coming into play on the closing three holes. The par-4, 449-yard ninth is renowned as one of the most challenging finishing holes in Utah. Forest Dale Golf Course measures 3,126 yards from the golf tees. Par is 36 for men and 37 for women.
